1. Acceptance of these Terms

By using ruthgear.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies linked from our website. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who we are

RuthGear is an independent online retailer of crimp tools, extraction tools and application tooling, located at 401 Ocean Ave, Suite 201A, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951.

3. Trademarks and independence

Molex, Mini-Fit, Micro-Fit, MX150, PicoBlade, Nano-Fit, TE Connectivity, AMP, PRO-CRIMPER, CERTI-CRIMP, MATE-N-LOK, DEUTSCH and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify the products we sell. RuthGear is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized distributor of these manufacturers unless we state otherwise in writing.

4. Products, part numbers and specifications

  • All tools we sell are new and genuine
  • Each product is identified by its manufacturer part number. The part number shown on the product page is the item you will receive
  • Specifications, compatible terminals and wire ranges come from manufacturer datasheets and may change without notice. We link to datasheets for your reference
  • You are responsible for confirming that a tool is specified by the terminal manufacturer for your terminal and wire before use. We are happy to help you check
  • Images may be representative. Packaging and handle colours can vary

5. Tool-matching advice

Our tool-matching help is provided free as a convenience, based on the part numbers you give us. If we recommend the wrong tool for the part numbers you supplied, our Tool-Match Promise in the Return & Refund Policy applies.

6. Pricing and availability

  • Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include sales tax, which is calculated at checkout
  • Prices and availability may change without notice
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, or offer the correct price

7. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we ship the product. We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons such as suspected fraud, pricing errors, export restrictions or unavailability, and we will refund any payment in full.

8. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Approved business customers may pay by invoice under the terms on their quote. Tax-exempt customers must provide a valid exemption certificate before ordering.

9. Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping, returns, exchanges, refunds and warranty are governed by our Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Warranty & Guarantees page.

10. Proper use and safety

Crimp tools must be used only with the terminals, contacts and wire sizes specified by the manufacturer, and according to the manufacturer's instructions. RuthGear is not responsible for crimp failures, damage or injury caused by misuse, modification, use outside specification or lack of maintenance and calibration.

11. Export compliance

You agree not to export or re-export products in violation of U.S. export laws and regulations.

12. Disclaimer

Except for the warranties stated in our Warranty & Guarantees page and those required by law, products and website content are provided "as is", and RuthGear disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, RuthGear is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost production or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

14. Website content

Text, graphics, logos and page layouts created by RuthGear are our property and may not be copied without permission. Manufacturer names and datasheets remain the property of their owners.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Brevard County, Florida. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date and policy ID at the top will change. Orders are governed by the Terms in effect when the order was placed.
